Kayla Gallocher is a Virtual Assistant living in Table View, Cape Town. Originally a Durban girl, she moved to Cape Town to experience a different lifestyle. While Durban will always be her home, living in the Mother City has definitely been an adventure! She lives with her fiance’, his daughter, and their three pets.
Kayla has worked in the real estate industry, in call centers, and in the recruitment industry. She has a passion for helping others and a goal to become a successful freelancer in the Virtual Assistant industry. She is determined to create a VA brand that is associated with efficiency, professionalism and unique services to match her client’s needs. After completing her Honours Degree in Psychology, she had to consider her options. In the search for a better work-life balance, and more freedom, Fox VA was created, and in alleviating the stress of businesses administration, she affords business owners more time to focus on the development of their own business. In turn, they too can reach a better work-life balance. Fox VA offers services such as email management, social media management and administration. These can be either once-off or on-going projects. Kayla is eager to assist and will tailor packages to suit her client’s needs and budget.
So, why Fox VA? As an avid animal lover, Kayla instinctively used an animal as the face or brand of her company. The fox is considered a shy animal, happy to live life in secrecy, and it’s spiritual meaning pertains to analytical thinking, observance, creativity and loyalty. These are qualities that describe Kayla and her work ethic. Highly organised and aimed at providing efficient services, she is happy to work in the background to get the job done.
In folk stories, the fox often helped other animals or people with their problems, and it is said that the fox is the single best guru to guide someone down a destined path.
